Not a pitch, but a discussion about how to integrate design early into the product development process.
User Experience is finally getting recognized as a key aspect in product success. Let's talk about how to make the user experience in your products the best that it can be.

I enjoyed Michal Anne's presentation and the ensuing discussion.
I just wanted to add that my comments about agile development are from the perspective of developing web applications. For products that are shrink-wrapped, retailed, include a user's manual, and/or developed on a fixed-price contract, more up-front design is better.
Also, with any methodology, sometimes a professional GUI design is done as an after-thought, like window dressing. Sometimes Agile is used as an excuse for not doing any professional GUI design. But I agree with at least part of what I think Michal Anne was asserting, that it's better to involve GUI designers in the process, and earlier.
