Rules: No talking heads, we want participation, sharing and interaction. Product discussions are encouraged especially if it is the creator, designer or principal innovator.
Objectives for the unconferenz:
Suggested topics for "core" sessions:
#
To vote, log in (see above) and increment each session by +1 and/or add your own session topics.
Suggested session format for presenting: Pecha Kucha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pecha_Kucha)
Basically if someone wants to present something or some topic they have 20 slides and 20 seconds each slide to do it in. This limits the presentation time to 6 minutes 40 seconds. Group discussion can follow afterwards. This is just a format to keep things flowing and avoid "death by Powerpoint".
Other Activities/Ideas:
Miscellaneous:
We will have a combination of pre-set sessions and open sessions. We are looking for about 6 sessions to anchor the day. If you have a preference please add them to the list. If you like what you see please put an x by the topic.
QUESTION: Is there only 1 session being held at a time? Can there be two tracks?
ANSWER: My (Todd's) recollection is that there is space for numerous (4 or more?) groups to meet simultaneously.
QUESTION: How can I register a second person? The form says it's "limited to one submission per user."

This was my first bar camp, and I enjoyed it. I was wary of the lack of structure, and worried that I would get bored, but it was interesting the whole time. It was nice to have and hear discussions with the wider variety of people and backgrounds. If there's another one, I'll probably attend that one too. -- David Beutel
